David Vizzini “Vizz” is the Founder and Pioneer behind several healthcare cost containment organizations specializing in self-funding strategies … specifically, market-based pricing, Payor-Provider advocacy/contracting, and strategic stop-loss underwriting partnerships. Vizz has been

creating and delivering the disruption necessary for employers, and their vendors, to achieve an optimal level of financial wellness, client experience and employee culture.

Prior to being introduced to Healthcare, the majority of Vizz’s career was spent in the athletics industry, collegiate education, and corporate consulting. Vizz is a multiple NCAA All-American wrestler with International success, while also serving as an NCAA Division I coach at Portland State University and California State University, Fullerton where he earned a Masters Degree in Rhetoric and Organizational Communication. Vizz extended his influence within the

collegiate walls by also serving as an instructor with the Speech Communication, Business & Marketing departments at PSU & CSUF. With a communication prowess and desire to positively impact relationships, Vizz served as a certified mediator for the Los Angeles and Orange County Court Systems for small claims, victim/offender and family.

“The Relationship Precedes The Success … Always!” Vizz’s free time is spent with his daughters Lincoln & Nixon, traveling internationally for the next adventure which is often surfing, and enjoying a plethora of food and wine … often a response to years of being deprived from cutting weight.

Starting out as an agency owner at 18, Dan Mangus has been in the insurance industry his entire life . Dan’s partnership Senior Marketing Specialists began in the late 1990’s, and in 2010 Dan had the privilege of chairing their newly formed Advisory Council and continues to sit as Chairman of the Board today. After several years of consulting work with Senior Marketing Specialists, Dan joined the brokerage team full time in 2012 as the National Sales Director, serving over 10,000 agents nationwide. Today Dan’s current position of Vice President of Sales, gives him a unique line of sight to the customer, agent, and FMO staff. 

Although Dan has been sharing his insights and knowledge since the early 1980’s, more recently you can find him teaching Medicare courses at Universities and keynoting national insurance conferences and Medicare certification courses for the both the National Guardianship Association (NGA) and the American Association of Daily Money Managers (AADMM). Dan is also an Expert Contributor for the RICP designation program through the American College and is the published author of TalkingMEDICARE, a resource guide for advisors in the Medicare market.
